Well its been two hours and still testing some stuff...
    Actually ,,

I was Gaming AA3 four about an hour,,
to pass the time while Downloading 3Dmark06 1.2.0 hahaaaa..580megs had to do something lol.

    550 C2/B50 @ 4100mhz with 2800nb/1200ram... Vs 555 C3/B55 @ 4340/2600 1150mhz ram..

    555 trumps @1000points ahead Both Runs 5750's @ 850/1400 ...

    Using 790X UD4P DDR2 for Unlocking F9 Bios and Raid 0..

    Not Optimized with NB ....

    gOtVolTage.... 4448mhz Water Validated @1.6v.......

From 4400mhz to 4448mhz it needed a bump from 1.53v to 1.6v and NBvid from stock 1.20v to 1.225v...

This particular chip likes 4350-4400mhz with 1.53-1.55v...4300mhz looks like a sweetspot..4400 will be tuff 24/7

so cool didnt Know J&W did that ...

A Bios Makes a big differance, Especially for unlocking and Stability... I Ran the F9 Bios before hand for this Mobo...

"Every which way i could" with the 550 ...

Knowing a 555 was gonna takes its place...

550's are good.....................555's are Insanely gooooood.......at the same volts.

    Nice chip you've got there.

However, there's noo way this is prime blend stable anywhere near 4300MHz.

    lolz his phenom 1 was over 3.5ghz & his c2 is 4.16ghz - i like his c3 to get over 4.2ghz easy

i dont member if he changed his loop or not but its either 2 or 3 tripples so 1.6v+ doesnt even make it sweat

my rad is equevelent to 3 tripples and 1.6v will stress a rad even at that size........thing is theres a point where more voltage has no effect and cooling the cpu (dropping the temp) is the only way to move forward.

But theres something about these current C3 chips thats making them go higher with less volts.....not sure if AMD has changed something or those are higher binned chips?? but theres definitely a trend of these higher ocing(100-200) cpus with a bit less voltage than the first c3's,

yes the new chips have been looking great, i really want to try a 955 but have 4 quads here right now, need to get rid of some before i get more i get a 19c max delta from idle to load @ 1.6v w/ 1x120 & 2x120 rads in all internal loop (can be seen in link in sig) ... whats your volts & load temps titan? i have an early c3 and my chip could get 4.2 stable @ 1.6v if i can keep load under about 40c, i figured these new chips should be able to go higher than that on same volts if you can keep load around 40c still which would be about a 15c idle-load delta w/ idle @ 25c

Im working on that today or tomorrow....My mobo is setting 1.54v @ 1.6v..thats a problem ATM...I think it has to do with the CPU microcode for F9 not shure though. As with the old 550 when i would set 1.6v it read 1.61v..

    Bios temp.
    555 is only 21c @ idle 4300mhz with 2600mhz..@1.54v
    550 was 29c @ 4100mhz/2700 @ 1.54v

I need to play more with Bios..But like i said its showing 1.54v when i set 1.6v or higher This hampers my Prime loading....

I never Said it was Prime Stable , but this chip will stay @4300+ no matter what..and above 1.53volts...All my Chips i like to push..This one dosnt like above 1.6v because of the Mobo

Titan ,, you hit the head on the Nail..
My goal is to keep under 1.6v for what i want to do...

Prime and Mobos and Me dont get along ...I shure do give a shot though

Even @ 1.54v with Prime for 2hours the heat will eventually build across my Rads..Besides all that This chip Easily does 200mhz over my 550 @ same volts...They did something and i like it..

    Yes

Note: Im not going for some uber Review on this thing,, Im just playing with a $89dollar chip that really Kicks A$$$ in the Bang for Buck builds.

    Wprime runs good lol.

    So tweaking @ 4300 is a Go.

Trying to get 4400 Benching and 3D if i get the Mobo to handle it and decent NB..

..Im in no hurry to Blowing it up before i have too

Try clearing CMOS regarding your vcore issue.

It looks like a really fun chip, I'd like to play with it on the vapo once my mounting kit comes in.

    So Random .........

    BROKENWALL

Funny i went out to grab lunch Sunday and came home with a 555 and no lunch....

Then i had to get beer when it booted @ 4200mhz because i didnt clear the Bios the First time(volts were @ 1.56v

    F9 works decent..
It holds Unlock on every reboot with 555...I forgot to clear CMOS when i swapped 550...

Didnt test Sleep though in Vista..I keep it always On..Just incase.

A new Bios would be great though.
