Awesome! Most people stop before the point you've started at!
C3 overclocks very well, though. Hope more people will be able to achieve your results with their 555s.

Nice I think 17°C room temp is key though.

Not all have 4 good cores.

I have a 2010 week 4 that will not boot with either of the two 'extra' cores enabled, same board and setup that will run all 4 cores on a 550.

If you look on the reviews on newegg there have been a few that would not unlock successfully.

Whoa, were they cheaper if you took five? Please show us how they do and don't forget to show CPU-NB as well. A 4.4GHz chip is worth nothing if the CPU-NB won't go over 2.4GHz imo.

Are all five the same week/stepping?

All the same 1002EPMW. I will take closer pictures of each CPU and upload before I put into packet and mark how it goes.

Yes, they were cheap, difference was around 20euro/cpu when we compare to Finnish prices. Here everything costs way too much. And you have to wait for every new component veeeery long.

So I bought these from Germany, and saved up to 100euros total. I bought other stuff too, 5 cpus just for fun.

Very nice. I am moving back to AMD after defecting from them for nearly 3 years Will be getting a x2 555 and hoping it unlocks. These are very encouraging results.

So how does one make sure they are getting the correct version of the mobo?? Course as I do mATX builds, the cases would trap too much heat anyway! Or would they..........

EDIT: Just realized all the Biostar mobos listed are mATX!!

could these be real Quadcores but is defective(in their standards) cache or core then repacking them as X2? i guess no need to waste the other cores if they 100% pass Q.C/ Q.A. right? anyways even when not unlocked this CPU OC's very well, satisfied!!!

    555 unlocked.

With mugen2 @ 60% setting from Sentry2 controller panel... 1.4875V 4GHz rock-solid (more than 100hour gaming, etc usage). I've tested smaller voltages too, but unsuccesful.

So it actually goes something between 4-4.1GHz, hoping to get 4050MHz at least with that 1.4875V.

1.45V (tested only 1.425V too, but wasn't enough) This same chip goes 3900++, here's a pic of ~2h30min LargeFFT prime.
    http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7...5vunlocked.png (1920x1080) size.

Other cpu from same 5cpu stack went exactly the same. 2 of 5 tested, counting from left in the picture posted earlier.
