    Post i5 clarkdale spec's

    hi guys

    yesterday i got my new proc. unfortunately i have to wait with testing until board and ram are here. will test it at the beginning of januar.

    hope i reach 5 ghz with water cooling

    would be great if others post their spec's and oc results to draw comparisons.

    Nice! Good job of getting the chip ahead of launch.

    If you have any buddies in Taiwan, you could have them send a motherboard to you. I know vendors are already selling Asus' H57 boards there.

    i ordered a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD6 and G.Skill RipJaws

    fact is just, i'm not at home. have holiday until 6th of january. guess i test at the 5th.

    Still can't find any retail anywhere in the US Figured a few would be selling early. My ES chip is junk, way too early of a revision.

    Taiwan? In germany is all available since 1 week (32nm Core i3, i5 and H55/H57 Boards)

    true. well for me it doesnt matter. i buy every 2 years a new cpu. so its not relevant to pay 250 eur or 280 eur like this time.

    i'm also not a hardcore oc-dude. the major goal is getting a stable system.

    it is every time the same, the shops sell the hardware 1 - 2 weeks before release and try to get much money for that....
