yeah right, i got nearly all new stuff from watercooling companies here in germany, so the alphacool heatmaster too the software is available in english since september. i would say, itīs a good product besides the Aqauero. It can handle 24 watts per channel, so you can directly attach a Laing/Swiftech pump and it has lots of features. itīs planed to bring some software updates and a mounting system for 5,25" slots

Could you post up pics of what the software looks like?

as i understood, i has only one channel supporting up to 24 watts. what is specification for othe channels? how does it connect to pc, if the description says it is pc independent?

All channels support 24 watts! Its a pwm controller! u connect the heatmaster by the use of the USB cable! Its just a usual usb cable like a printer cable. U connect the cable at the top left corner in picture 1.
pc independent means that u do not need continous connection with the USB cable. After u made ure setting u can remove the cable.

Is it OK for a DDC to be run on PWM? I thought it needed pure analog power.

Or is this really meant for fan control only?

I think if the pwm frequency i high enought, say 22kHz and more , then it is ok. And you wont hear any buzz or winning of its motor

    Hey.
We especially designed the Heatmaster so it can handle the DDC pumps without any problems. With this in mind the Heatmaster has, as stated above, an extrem high PWM frequency (over 20kHz which is a lot compared to other PWM controls) that is suitable to run all current DDC pumps and Fans without any of the disadvantages PWM normaly brings with it.

Hope this clarifies the matter a bit.

Can you tell dimensions of tid control panel itself (without mounting stuff, just circuit board) WxDxH ( hight=the highest element)?

    Hey,
the heatmaster uses the standard 5 1/4" measures.
The height is a bit more complicated because it varies depending on which
cables and plugs you use to connect it to your hardware. so i cant give you something valid here, sorry.

right, only pwm, but itīs working great also with normal non-pwm-fans and with a Laing/Swiftech pump

Did a review month ago before Aquacomputer launched the powerbooster-upgrade for the Aquaeo (warning, german language):
    http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...tt-628694.html

Just bought one in these days again, because the Heatmaster is already end of life (Alphacool is not longer existing in the known way and nobody will be working on updates) and now itīs available for half of the usual price in Germany.

I donīt think there is any english manual available at all. The software had a beta-status in general and Alphacool has already stopped development when Aquacomputer began to bring the powerbooster to market. The Heatmaster has 4 channels and each channel is able to handle 24 Watt. So you could hande 4 DDCs with it - Cum on feel the noize!

The Heatmaster is in general an absolute fine piece of hardware and if Alphacool would have had the money and time to put some extra development inside the software and an optional display (connectors are already there) it would have been an Aquaerokiller. But I am afraid that they put all their eggs in only one basket (Yellowstone, Heatmaster, HF Cyclone...) with to little profit.

4x24W / 4 DDCs? Woahh, nice. 2 dual-ddcs for two loops . And probably via pwm pumps can be run even slower then with analog downvolting, as no more 8V minimal voltage problems. Unmaintained software strikes out everything though. Having no support for whatever next OS MS will release sounds bad for me.
BTW, out of curiosity - does this controller work standalone without os/drivers support? And does it support power shutdown in case of pump/temp problems?
