    Talking [LN2] Xeon 3470 (i7 870 server) + ASUS M3F, near 5G benching

Xtremelabs.org benchmark team was invited to Intel LGA1156 platform launch on 8 september in Ukraine. We make some usual show stuff with LN2 oc, and later on took hardware to secret labs to spend some (35L) LN2 on it, to see how it works My first LGA1156, and in general Nehalem ocing, i still prefer LGA775 for my work

    Specs of rig:

Intel Xeon X3470 ES, server variant of 870.
    ASUS MAXIMUS III Formula stock
    2x2GB Kingston
    3x2GB Corsair GT
2x4870x2 (one broken, artifacts, as i tested it later, so no CFX (
    9800gx2
    GeForce 7100
    160GB WD 2.5" hdd reflashed to 120GB
    Gigabyte iRAM + 2GB DDR
    Topower 1kw bad PSU
    Gigabyte Odin GT 550W

    cooling gear:

Xtremelabs.org MAGNUM LN2 pot, copper, with Legends signatures from MOA 2009
    35L dewar full of LN2

    Some showoff
Calling spirits of overclock... No photoshop, only freezelight

    Calling for multihead videomosters

And make LN2 gods bless all of this

    LN2 pot with runic signatures

We are going for the bench.

Coldbug testing...too low, CPU works only near -100°C

Some future old-school benching with QX9650 and AGP

Clock IC on MAXIMUS III FORMULA, ICS 9LPRS140CKLF
We are waiting for new SetFSB

    Results got:

Taking GND reference from another galaxy

    Go ahead!

About SetFSB: Try ICS9LPRS587AGLF and see the magic. Works also with Asrock P55 Deluxe for example (same clock generator)
    The Initial value finished
    ...
    PI calculation is done!
