    Help with GTX260 Waterblock

So, I've been looking around trying to find information on what waterblocks might fit my gtx260.

I have an EVGA GTX260 216 sp/55nm card with part # 896-P3-1255-AR EDIT: Just noticed the picture of the one at newegg doesn't match my own picture for the back side...

    here at newegg

I emailed PPCs and EK with no luck in getting an answer and I'm still awaiting response from EVGA. So today I decided to take the stock heatsink off and take some pictures:

    Back:

    Front:

After comparing it with the image from EK seen here it looks exactly the same as the GTX275 PCB layout.

That leads me to think that I would have no problem using either of these waterblocks:

So, what do you guys think?

Also, higher res images here: http://s186.photobucket.com/albums/x...on2003/GTX260/

It's that new reference design, but I'm still not certain if the EK block works with the 55nm. They used to not.

Yeah i got the exact problem got my EVGA GTX260 superclocked 55nm 896-P3-1257-AR (ER). I was lucky enough to get the wrong layout since its the newest revision. Did you founf out if the EK-FC275 will fit on your card?

Yeah, I ended up getting a confirmation from EK after asking a second time with exact pictures. This is what I bought:

I'm not running it yet but everything is making contact as it should.

    Thanks for the headsup

Could you post your findings after you tested the waterblock on your card, to see if you encounter any problems. (temps are alright?, no strange artifacts due to the connection of the waterblock to the card?) Right now i'm very frustrated, headache for having a wrong layout pcb for the gtx260 55nm just like the one you have.
And wasted money on a EK fc260 55nm wich doesnt fit.
So i'm very interested in your findings.

    Thanks in advance.

What revision do you have if its this version see link:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/4173419...n/photostream/

Then yes your waterblock should fit your gtx260 896-P3-1255-AR.

But me and the other guy have this version evga gtx260 55nm of the card see link: (its a gtx275 but it has the same pcb as the evga gtx260 55nm)

So the EK fc275 waterblock is compatible with the gtx260 55nm (same pcb as the gtx275) as shown in the pictures, without any problems?

Yeah i did used the link www.coolingconfigurator.com but it says compatibility is visual based, not physical.
Can you confirm that it will fit on the gtx260 55nm the version wich in some pictures state there is no waterblock for it.

Sure it says visual, because we cannot have all and all cards to test, but this is very sure to fit.
But as the real pics from the Viper2004 I can confirm this card would fit to EK-FC275 GTX water block.

    Thanks for the reply,

I do have one problem though i already have the EK-FC260 GTX 55nm.
And i did use the www.coolingconfigurator.com wich state that the EVGA gtx260 superclocked 55nm 896-P3-1257-AR i ordered the same card with the same fabric number. But i got the wrong pcb version as stated above.
Wich seems kind of strange it would be much better to point that out to customers that there is indeed different versions of the videocard. I send an email to your support but didnt get any reply. Is it possible to rma the EK-FC260 GTX 55nm waterblock and in return i get the EK-FC275 GTX?
Note: i did not used my waterblock since i'm still waiting for my pc hardware the videocard i ordered separatley wich i already have. The waterblock is just sitting here and is 1 month old. I live in Europe buy the way.

Can you help me with the above problem? because i dont have any reserve regarding finance

    Thanks in advance

    Hi!

This was newegg error as they have wrong picture online.
If you bought it in our webshop you can send it back with no problem as long as the block is in perfect condition.
I am sure all resellers will replace it the same.

If you have copy of e-mail FW it to me so I can check why it was not answered as we reply to all e-mails.

    Thanks for the reply,

No i did not buy the block on your online store sadly...
Here is where i bought it www.Aquatuning.nl but i think they would not replace my waterblock for the EK fc275 because its past a month now due to waiting far to long for my pc hardware. but the block itself is in perfect condition did not used it. Il send you a copy of my mail to your private mail box.

I re-uploaded my original pictures in case that helps.

You can also use this: http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/ to check what will fit your card.
