Great work, thanks for sharing. Very nice SPI32M efficiency too. Have you managed to totally stabilize the ram at 1900 - 2000MHz CL7 or CL8?

only used XP 32 above 475fsb, so i didn't test beyond HPi @ 1000mhz. 500fsb/1:2 pretty good for 32M with this kit, but not worth testing on Vista compared to 475fsb/tRD6 @ 1.5V vNB.

Cheapseats - after playing with my REX and Corsair 1866C7GTF kit, I have no idea how you managed to pull most of those benches off. You have truly epic skills, and a great board and ram kit. I dont know if its me or my hardware preventing me from replicating your settings.

I will certainly have to reference this thread and spend some time tweaking and learning.

Do you run your NB on water or air? Do you notice any degradation in clocks over time running 1.6 - 1.7V+ through the NB?

Cheapseats, congrats to you on this achievement, very very hard Also, thanks for the very through post. After I'm done with 2k1 I may throw these back on and see if I can get anything new. I tried when I first got them but was just so frustrated I gave up

Don't worry, you're not the only one. I have had major problems trying to get Elpidas going with REX as has Jody (3oh6). Eva also had a hard time to but he managed to figure it out to point here, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=226580.

What's the situation with the 0403 BIOS? It's not on the asus FTP or the main site. What are the advantages of running 0403 vs 1104 (which I am using now) for example?

Thanks for the link Eva, I have been reading that too since last night for tips. Seems my ram & board are behaving differently to yours though.

it gets easier to boot high because RE gets looser and looser past 500fsb/1:2. Bandwidth loss is quite large.

    thanks

using Asus air cooler + fan on NB, all the heatpipe etc is still as shipped

0403 + micron worked great for me, and elpida also seems good on 0403 but was the only one i tried. less vcore droop (LLC off) with 0403 than 1001/3 and 1104.

thanks filmbot the main limitations were scaling chipset performance past certain points, but the memory itself ran without problems (as far as tested).
