    E8600 Cpu-z WR(hwbot). and some big numbers AM3 + 2005

    Hey Xtreme systems!

Sorry for making another E8600 thread when we all know i7 is the real thing thats cooking at the moment. But i would like to share my results of the weekend.

My old Rampage Died like 50% of the rampage's in the world :P, stuck on CPU-INIT. So i got a new one and didnt want to ln2 the NB because i dont have heatsinks for the other componants (i think thats why my old board died). So it was nb on AIR.

    System:
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 Q822A435. -140CB.
    Memory: Corsair Dominators 1800 cl7 2x1 GB
Graphics: 2x Biostar 4890's supplied by Andy from landmark computers!
    Motherboard: Asus Rampage Extreme x48! Bios's 0121 and 0901.
    Power Supply: Corsair HX1000W modular.
Pot: My own homemade piece of junk , but i love it. (see pics below)

Without these companies this would not be possible!
    Landmark Computers. 2x Biostar 4890's
Frontosa IT. LN2 costs and RE
    Corsair
    Dominators and PSU

The day started off with my useless pi skills. This week im going to study SuperPi Closely with my friend (Before) and come back strong this weekend with good Efficiency unlike you are seeing here... and 2:3 divider which i didnt use this time.. (if any of you would like to help me tweaking Pi please drop me a PM)

I Tried to get my pifast WR back but i failed hence bad planning and tweaking, i didnt prepare enough for this bench session. But i ran PiFast at 6.627ghz.

Am3 Dualcard went down alright but i used the wrong mem divider so i couldnt get up to 6.6 for AM3.

Here is a run at 6.6 single card. Score is horrible i know, i used a bad memory divider just to check how stable am3 is at 6.6

I also got an 2005 run done at 6.5, which i think went down nicely for 2x4890's.
    44028

and the prize of the entire session. With last bit of LN2 i thought i'd do some validation with 1 core. With 2 cores on i could get about 6.7 validated, but now i got this score below. Next superpi run will be with 1 core . im guessing 6.7 superpi 1m could be possible.

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=554169

Now meet the lady in charge. Me and my dad made this when i 1st started benching, hand grinded, sawded, drilled sticked and lapped . Sorry its not for sale i know you all want 1 though, just not ready to hit retail yet. But i guess i would have to pay YOU to use this ;p.

This is where its at guys, serious bussiness.

    system:

    Thanks for looking!

This coming weekend i'll be using a Zotac 295 and better superpi and PiFast skills.

Extremely impressive. Any words on the REX settings you used?

ROFL what you laughing at . im gonna get you and i know you have a backup! if you ran am3 at 6.6 there is no way you just have a pifast at 6.58 . Good benching friend.

    Massman:

    CPU: 1.9315 V
    Loadline: Disable!
    PLL: 1.57
    VTT: 1.41

    GTL1: +30mv
    GTL2: +30mv
    GTL3: +30mv
    NB GTL: auto

@ karmakazi, il report my 2001 speed this weekend but i think it will be around 6.52.
@ System, i think when im done with this chip i have to cast it into mount doom before it consumes another bencher .

It must be so satisfying to get those results with a pot you made yourself.

    Just...stay away from the 8800GT in 3DM01
