    Gainward GTX275 voltmod anyone?

    Hello people,

I just purchased a Gainward GTX275 card with a seemingly custom layout. I took photos of the power controller chip. It is a Richtek RT8841. Unfortunately i am not an expert in analysing the circuitry around the chip but I've done many voltmods in the past using a Weller solder station.

Here's the datasheet of the chip:

This chip is intended actually to do the regulation for AMD and Intel CPUs, so I wonder if it is possible to overvolt the GTX275 by manipulating the VID pins. This depends on the operation mode certainly.

I only peeked at it briefly, but it also looks like the chip was programmable, and a soft mod could be possible.
