X3 720 BE has Identity crysis the sequel WR's

*EDIT* Little HD video I made of this chip on DI a few days ago
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozT3u...e=channel_page

Just got done slapping board back together and drying it out.

Ran into a few issues near the end, isulation split bad next to the PWM.....Ice in ram slots just to name a few...guess I got the board colder than I thought I would.

    System specs
    Asus m4a79 deluxe
    x3 720 BE to x4 mod bios
2x2gig OCZ golds ddr II 800 spd rated
    2x4850's visiontek custom bios
    Custom Pot by Bartx
    PC P&C 750w
Temps no clue my harbor freight bargain meter maxxed out at -128/129

Since everyone seems to be claiming WR's on non validations.......I guess i can to.
    http://valid.canardpc.com:80/show_oc.php?id=530612

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=10381238

When I saw this it was time to pull the plug.....board cost to much darn money.

    The aftermath

yah near the end I was going to flash to my other bios, board got all flaky though, then I noticed the ice up in the ram slots, and in the PWM so I called it a day.....One core is really weak for 3d, that or my PSU cant handle the load....couldn't really tell.

Bios I need to use the 4th core is horrid......I will try to snatch the 3d record on a real 4 core didn't bother pushing cards hard as I knew I didn't have the speed I needed.

Still might have you build a larger mass unit, but this one seems to do the trick quite well...

Very bad memory timing you've there but nothing strange for 2x2GB kit. Need some GMH!
But very nice results and setup pics

Hmm tight timing D9 memory, seems I beat that stuff in PI with less cpu clocks, this isn't an intel cpu what you think you know needs to be learned all over

Bad memory timings are subjective, when sticks cost $40 bios I was using to unlock chip doesn't like them to much, this bios does

So I have inside info that my PI score is going down, its all good though because it's internal aka someone on team XS

Few people were wondering why I couldn't bench at 6gig if I validated higher than 6 gig. Not that I couldn't I just chose not to post it

New PI 1m wr 720 BE for now

I will be most certainly taking this chip under cold again x3 mode....I think it has alot more potential but i was running out of ln2 and board was being flakey. Little sneak peak into the future, NB and ram speeds were a tad low so time is reflective of that.

Be sure to watch in HD, the SD conversion is cruddy.

those are some beautiful results, certainly makes me think more than twice about going Phenom instead of i7.
