it got down a little lower in windows but i never took a SS of it. under full load it didnt break 40C

When i tested containers with dryice on 160w dummy load i also tried out similar aluminium heatsink with di (+methanole of course) and temps were about 40-50K higher than normal brazed copper containers. So it might work but it has pretty sucky performance compared to basic brazed copper container. Same goes with aluminium containers alltogether. You would think that massive solid aluminium container with good surface area would beat basic brazed copper container but i didnt get result that supports the idea. Maybe its different with Ln2 but with dryice aluminium is pretty much "busted" as far as im concerned.
