Pro Advanced Thermal Fluid. I just talked to a guy at CoolIT (they're here in Calgary) and it's the same stuff they use in their TEC units

It's not UV or anything, green is apparently its natural colour

I guess this means somebody needs to test it now . It seems kind of expensive, especially considering it is not UV. My guess is that this would be better suited for chilled loops than for us normal WCers.

just spoke to CoolIT again, apparently it's 75% distilled and 25% ethelyene glycol with "organic phosphates" (anti-corrosive)

+1 Just another booger colored overpriced and non efficient coolant. Obviously made for a chilled system to prevent ice crystals and the like. For regular water cooling it's not worth it. Unless you have a mixed metal loop that has copper and aluminum. Then it will be handy to prevent galvanic corrosion.

I'm sure I've read, once in awhile, of guys getting gunk from PT Nuke mixed with distilled. But maybe that's always a case of just mixing in the wrong proportions?

I doubt that... all you need is a drop or two in a loop

Yup that can happen when you put in about half the damn bottle. Seen someone do it and it did not play well with his loop. He came to me asking what had happened and I looked at his loop and knew right away. I asked him how many drops he put in and he looked surprised and then he said he put in a few squeezes just to be safe as he was paranoid on reading about algae. One or two drops will do it and that also depends on the size of the loops. Big loops add two and smaller loops just add one.

id rather honestly use the fesser.

its not puke green.

Id actually perfer either Koolance, or Innovotek.

Reason is they have a long history of mixing metals with there coolant with very little bad effects. So field live testing speaks for itself.

this is sold at Canadian tire and it is pure ethelyene glycol and it will change color when it is time to flush no extra fee your WC system all you need to do is add 75% distilled water and some ptnuke.
