Exclamation New (February) BIOS for the most popular 790FX(GX) mobos [/w SB750]

Some of the most popular 790 FX/GX [with SB750] mobos have received new BIOS:

    ASUS M4A79 DeLuxe
    (0903): http://support.asus.com/download/dow...M4A79%20Deluxe

    1. Improve system stability when ACC function is applied.
    2. Fix the system may hang when TurboV sets AM2 CPU Ratio to 4X.
I stil can't grasp what makes M4A79 Deluze better mobo than the previous:

    ASUS M3A79-T DeLuxe (0703): http://support.asus.com/download/dow...A79-T%20Deluxe

    01. Support ACC with AM2+ 45nm CPU.
    02. Improve the system performance when use certain CPU.
    03. Fixed System may show Boot fail message if ACC enabled.
    04. Fix the problem that AM2 CPU Vcore voltage may be incorrect if change CPU voltage in AI Suite.
    05. Fix the problem that AI_NAP may not work after resuming from S1 or S3.
    06. Set the value of "Processor Frequency Multiplier" option in bios up to 35 for certain CPU.
    07. Support new CPUs.
now, only if they were more precise on models under second point

    DFI LANPARTY DK 790GX-M2RS (R7GD213 beta): http://img.lanparty.tw/Upload/BIOS/CM/R7GD213.zip

    2. Fixed Power_LED always bright when S3 Resume.
Doesn't sound to important, but this is build up on previous version that came with some important improvements:

    Major Reasons of Change:
1.Change detect SPD function for DDR1066.
2.fixed winsat memory Bandwidth score too low.

Nedjo, M4a79 has minor hardware changes on the same PCB , Now if we rewind and take a look at past boards by asus we see something similar.

Asus maxximus formula, clocks 65nm quads like a champ, fails in the 45nm department peaking out at 420 fsb.....Enter the rampage formula. SO similar in all aspects the bios even flashes to maxximus and works better the PCB is Identical.....it however can still not clock 45nm quads.......They changed some very minor things in the PWM...however component placement is identical..rampage formula clocks 45nm like a beast.

Sometimes software can not fix hardware no matter how minor the diff is...

    thanks for info chew*

regarding the M3A79-T, when you enable ACC ("Auto") on X4 940, it all works, but AOD (2.15) amd CoreTemp (0.99.4) don't show temperature of any core
