694 or 699Mhz is the best clock for my unmodded cards

and i can bench at 704MHz but i think its a bit higher than the limit cz im loosing some points with that clock

715Mhz the score is horrible and 730MHz is a no go

But wouldn't that just mean its unstable, but why doesn't the FPS/benchmark score stay the same or increase?

poor renders possibly, if the info is bad, the card will be made to process it again OR it could be a tipping point between CPU and GPU power for those clocks and the GPU power is so much that the system is unbalanced. That can make scores go down too.

sometimes it happen ,you can raise the clock and go higher than the limit and run some bench and finish all the tests without any artifact but with no gain
so you need more vcore or a better cooling (im running with the fan at 100% and low room temp)

Ok thanks, not it makes sense. Also my sense y my GFX cards scores go down when I run the memory above 1150MHz (4.6GHz).

I'm loving these temps on air compared to the HD4870X2. I honestly thought we'd see much higher thermals. Nvidia must have cherry pick their 55nm stock for these monsters.

I also love the scaling on i7. Must... resist... buying... GTX 295.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

    Very nice numbers my friend.....
my (and as it seems) all 295s have a 700mhz core limit with stock air.....you see,1.03Vgpu is low.....
BUT my speculation is that if modded 1.15V - 1.2V will up the clocks ~800mhz core @ stock air....
