XS Group Purchase - EP45 UD3 Series (DDR2&DDR3) MIPS Freezer Set!
Update from MIPS: Final Price will be US$ 185 for the 4 blocks Kit or US$ 141 for 3 blocks (NB, M1 and M2) (if dollar doesn't lose more ground) + shipping US$ 28 divided by the number of buyers (4 so far). I will be ordering next week (around Xmas day) so I will send PM for people that have their name in the list to confirm quantity.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys,
I have the same problem now with this UD3 then I had in February with my DFI. I simple can't find any retailers to send me the complete mobo block set.
And also there is NO manufacturer planning to have all the blocks for the UD3 (NB, PWM1, PWM2, SB) besides MIPS.
I have done this Group Purchase before with 100% success just look here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/Forums/...d.php?t=182949
The process is simple I will organize a list of how many people are interested, then will contact http://www.mips-computer.de/ to ask if any discounts are applied.
Then I will organize the final list with the total price including shipping (that will be divided by the total number of buyers). I will give a deadline for the transfers to arrive in my account, after receiving the Paypal transfers I'll make one single payment to MIPS and they send the blocks to my address. Who didn't make the due date won't be included on the purchase and Payment will be reimbursed. I can only accept Paypal as it is much safer for me and for you guys.
Once the kits arrive at my house I will re-ship to each one that send the Paypal payment.
I can ship internationally to if anyone outside US is interested.
All the transactions and receipts will be open to the public to see.
Here's a shot of the kit ( 134,90 EUR + shipping to USA):

How so?
Jor3lBR was nice enough to organize and create the last dfi group buy.

I'm in . . .
You can count me in on the list. Unfortunately I found out about the DFI group buy two weeks too late, and I'm not going to miss this one. The DFI buy was the best managed group buy I've ever seen, and completely trust you to handle it well. Hopefully there's enough demand to get any type of discount being as though people might be broke during XMAS or upgrading to Core i7 (not worth it for my needs). Thanks for initiating this. Around $200 is a great deal anyway for quality mips products.

Thank you for the compliments! I think it's an excellent deal too because I spent almost half of that in 1 mosfet block!
Another name added to the list.

Group Purchases
I just received an email from MIPS
If we reach 10+ blocks they can give us discounts that would be around 5 EUR per block. So lets see if we can talk to friends to join in so we can reach that quota. If not we will order for the normal price (that isn't that much higher).
I just need till Friday then we can get ready to order.
Here's the email:
hello,
many thanks for your request.
if you order 10+ sets you could get the gigabyte freezer set for euro 130,00
instead of 134,90.
the r2e sets are actually not in shop and we will offer 2 different sets, one
with our new dual-chip freezer and one with seperate freezers for nb & sb.
the set with the dual-chip freezer and 2 mosfets would cost 136,90
and the set with 4 freezers would cost 134,90.
payment only via paypal (+4% paypal taxes).
shipping to us are euro 20,00 with dhl standard paket.
i hope we could help you with our informations.

X58 and UD3
Viper I can include whatever you want on our order. If you want the X58 UD5 blocks included I can order those too.
Please tell me which blocks or kits you want for which boards.
Have to close this group by Monday.

Update 21/12/08
Update:
Hi Guys,
Due to the economical crises we lost some of our member numbers. So far we have 4 people that are sharing shipping.
Also to make things cheaper I can order only the amount of blocks you want they costs around 34 EUR so if you want to order only Mosfet1, Mosfet2 and North Bridge they price will drop to US$141.
Let me know what you guys think so we can wrap this order up this week.
Regards!

I don't think so Lyl, these blocks are kinda new and I browsed the entire UD3P thread and there is no WC setup in this board.
