i wish they made one with just 2 PCI-E X16 for those of us who still use more than one PCI card and have a dual slot video card.

Too bad you can't fit 6 dual slot gpus.

My friend is going to hate that. He still loves pci.

Yes, I couldn't agree with you more. With Asus more than others making so many different versions of their boards, I just wish they would make one with the socket are clear, and call it something like the "subzero"

Why oh why do people keep bringing this up when there is a keepout zone spec that is made by Intel and is followed by all these mobo manufacturers.

Insulation is not what these boards are designed around. Grab a Tube of Permatex.

I like the look of the Revolution.

    The ROG board.....

For a board aimed at gamers and overclockers, single spacing on the PCI-E is a surprisingly bad move and Asus are making a habit of it.....

its called cascade/phase change/plasma cooling and they ALL need insulation around the socket, usually in a square or rectangular fashion. all those short caps make it pretty hard to seal up the processor socket from spreading condensation during extreme low temp operation.

in addition cascade is the anti-spec anyhow, with these subzero temps...
    for the glory of bardob!

You will need 3 1000's or 1200's for the cards, and another one for the mobo, cpu, and watercooling and other stuff.

Seriously though, I would actually have to add that up. It may seriously take 2 PSU's. Anybody know of a 2000 or 3000 watt unit?
