Talking [Team.AU] E8500=6128MHz, Biostar P45 + Corsair PC10000 DOMINATORS 4-4-4-4 DualChannel

I know i know another Biostar thread LOL
but what can you say when this board is that good
no mods on my board and FSB limit of 611MHz for 32M SuperPi runs on CAS4 but i did do some superpi tests at 5.8GHz-5.9GHz tonight

i didn't want to kill anything so i stopped the session as condensation was really starting to get a bit much for me.....i will give me my best to make it stable at 5.9GHz for some 8M and 32M runs...i know i can do it damn it lol

Test Configuration:
Biostar TPower P45 board
***1.88vcore, 2.68vdimm, 1.69vMCH, 1.47vFSB***
Intel Core2 Duo E8500 Q740A497
2GB DDR2 PC10000 Corsair DOMINATORS (645MHz 1:1 4-4-4-8 timings)
PCI GFX Card MX200
620W Corsair PSU
Stock heatsink on NB (LN2 cooled with small pours)
kingpin F1 Extreme Edition Solid copper CPU LN2 Pot
Big mamma 35L LN2 Dewar
160GB PATA
Windows XP Pro 32bit SP3

I was FSB limited here.........and condensation kicked in when i figured out how to run 1.92vcore and -140C lol

this CPU is a monster.......i need a board that can give me stable 631MHz FSB so that i can bench it at 6GHz rofl

Validation Link: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=384946

here is my settings template i usually use and then adapt it to whatever cooling i am using....so it would be slightly different for the above run if you know what i mean

Code:
SETTINGS

M/B : BIOSTAR TP I45 (BIOS:626)
CPU : Core2 Duo E8500(Q740A497) best CPU i've EVER had :D [EDIT]...errrr maybe my Opteron 146 with 11x multi still takes the cake
CPU cooling : TTBig Typhoon
Chipset Cooling : stock with extra fan
Mem : 2GB Kit of Crucial Ballistix
2GB DDR2 PC10000 Corsair Dominator "dead" kit for CAS4 << still works eeek even it tons of errors in memtest heheh
VGA : PCI GFX Card
HDD : Samsung 160gb ide
OS : Windows XP SP3
USB wireless mouse and PS2 keyboard

[BIOS SETUP] O.N.E
Over-Clocking Navigator [Manual OverClock]
Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) : Disabled
Ratio CMOS Setting : ×6 (change higher for benching subzero obviously)
CPU Frequency Setting : 570(boot)
Over Clock Retry Count : 2
FSB Compensation: Enabled
FSB(Bsel) To NorthBridge Latch : 1333
DRAM Frequency : DDR2-1140
DDR2 Enhance Mode : Disabled

DRAM Timing Configuration
DDR2 RCOMP Configuration : 2
Static tREAD Value : AUTO
Configure DRAM Timing by SPD : Enabled
[EDIT] this will give you CAS5 clocks and PL10 past 600MHz FSB
for PL9 past 600MHz FSB you need to manually set CAS4 timings

Clock Gen Configuration
PCIE Frequency Setting : 100
CPU Clock Skew Control : 200ps
(G)MCH Clock Skew Control : 100ps
CPU Clock Driving Control : Auto

Voltage Configuration
CPU Voltage : SET WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR STABILITY AT MHZ YOU ARE BENCHING ON
DDR Voltage : +0.600v (use more depending on RAM)
Chipset Voltage : +0.600v
FSB Voltage : +0.40v
CPU Core1 GTL Ref Voltage : 0.63*VTT
CPU Core2 GTL Ref Voltage : 0.67*VTT
MCH GTL Ref Voltage : Auto
CPU PLL Voltage : 1.5v

i also disabled Multicore Computing under CPU section for max Superpi with single core otherwise enabled for 3D benching

also my hard drive must be screwed up as i am not happy with my efficiency but results are not too bad i guess

also here is a 6GHz 1M
absolutely hideous PP hehehehe

i am FSB limited by this board
this CPU has a lot more to give
with the right board...i would be expecting at least 5.9GHz 2D/3D
Josh is going to have a lot of fun with this CPU
it handles -150C plus no problems lol

update

8M SuperPi: 1m 41.9s

32M SuperPi: 8m 18.190s

P45 looks so strong...and I can't believe DDR2 is still putting out such heavy performance even today.

i used nail polish first and then i used frost king and loads of layers plus lots of paper towels
my insulation is usually pretty good but when you throw LN2 on NB with some little contraption around the stock heatsinks and part of it is exposed you are bound to get some condesation fairly soon lol

Most of the time I skip these kind of threads, because most of them are just the same ... BUT this one is better!

645 4-4-4-4 DC is very, very good. Now I'm expecting so much more from your setup, speaking in PI-terms here . Looking forward to the next update!

You should've seen my P5K3 Deluxe "Swimming Pool" edition Dino
In one of the last ( few ) benching sessions I forgot to insulate a area which would get really cold for sure ( the reason why I forgot to insulate that area was because I was trash-talking about Aussie's cheating in SuperPi with my cousin ) and when I noticed that, there was lots of water floating around that area ( thank God I insulate nearly 100% of my boards PCB ) ) I continued benching, and left it there for a while until I managed to grab a towel
