    Tri SLi 9800GTX Power

Will my 1k Antec hold up to the job for 3 9800 cards with a QX9650?

Should I be looking at a 2ed PSU?

I want to be 100% ready to play in the coming days when the cards show up.

You will be fine with 1KW PSU. Though I must admit its comical (to me) that you made the purchase and THEN thought about the PSU. Cart before the horse!!!

Who said I bought anything(Well I did on the CPU/790i/memory and so forth)

I run ocLIT for PALiT and this is what I'm going to work on for the next month.

Now I have thought from the start that it could handle the job, just not 100% on it....

All I know is this is the first PSU I have had in a long time that didn't pop. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a PSU.
