FLEX MODE?? add stick to channel 0 or 1?

I already have 2 sticks of the f2-8500 mem. i bought 1 more stick to have 3gb for vista 32. didnt want to use 2 b/c thats alot of stress on mem controller plus vista cant see and effectively use all 4 gigs.

The board im using is a ga-p35-ds3l. the MCH is suppose to support Intel Flex Memory. (2 gigs in dual channel, last in single when needed by a program/game) is there any preference which channel i should add the extra gig to, channel 0 or channel 1??

ok so i added the 3rd stick to dimm 4, MCH registers flex monde on boot up, cpuz and pc wizard show dual channel operation. other 2 sticks are in dimm 1 and 3. Should i do a +.1volts to the vdimm for 3 sticks for more stability or will they run fine at 1.8v? im using them at 800 with 4-4-4-10 timings.

hi. yeah its worked fine for 3 or 4 days now.i started playing the Witcher and was having problems with slow load times and crashing. people on the witcher forum say more system memory and setting a bigger page file/virtual memory will help. i did both and the game has only crashed once since. The game use to crash every 30 mins to an hour.

i used the f2-8500 at only 800spd 4-4-4-10 with 1.9 vdimm. it was really stable to i set it back to 1.8 vdimm. still no probs. pc wiz and cpuz show vdimm is around 1.85.
