Could B3 Phenom be the rebirth of AMD....+1000MHZ OC done!

Pictures says it all, this with OCZ 8000Reaper X with a test SPD im workin' on, prototype Hydroflow water block and 1 brand new shop bought (www.aria.co.uk) Phenom 9850BE and a little tweakage on the DFI 790FX

check this post for news on me doing comparisons to Intel CPU's with this Phenom.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=141

Check the pics:

Im just starting to test and it may not be 100% stable ( but its real close )

Don't ask me for AMD/Intel comparison shots...i don't do them.
Don't ask for super Pi, I don't run it

I will post some everest and chat about how I got it up to this clock...
3D06 etc is on my list, remember I did not even tweak this massively, mostly boot at 1066 ram and up the multi on the CPU so im sure you guys could dial in more speed.

Added validation for 3.5GHZ on the Gigabyte DQ6 also, both boards ran this CPU at 3.5GHZ.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=339861

Max voltages used were 1.5V bios for 3.5GHZ, 3.2 and 3.4 used between 1.3 and 1.45V

Very nice man, I think you may have just sold me on the 9850 for using it with my vapo. Could you post idle and max temps at 3.5 when you have it 100% stable, and the temperature of the block if you can? I like what I see, keep up the good work.

AOD is killing the board as soon as I load it, will have to use Everest for monitoring.

More soon:

now guys im still workin on stability, the shots above are ragged edge so we need to come down a little...but by how much is the question ?

Im going to start at 3GHZ and work up...i just wanted to show these new CPU's have good potential.

I haven't done this in a long time, but I nearly dropped my mug and uttered a "holy " when I saw this. Could you run a 3D06 CPU test? I'd really appreciate it Great work there, I hope this is a sign of things to come.

I'm and and impressed

Spi is to cache dependant we all know Intel still rules there, but maybe a quick run to see if the phenoms clocked higher show an scaling improvement?

This is great for AMD! The sad part is that it had to be done on water. A solid step forward, but still second in a two man race.
