    9800GX2 First Test: 30k Single

Been waiting for the new Tek 4.0 from Kingpin , finally got it! Amazing pot, cooling 2 GPUs with one pot is a great idea, You save on LN2 and the heat load is so easy to handle with these cores.

    CPU Cooled by F1 EE
    GPU Cooled by Tek 4.0
    Benched on Dimas Benchtable

30K Single Card with Foxconn Black Ops of course! No funny MIP 'tweaks'. 1026 Core, Definitely more in it, especially if the stupid, 'cold slowdown' gets fixed, 1070 core will run close to the line of cold slowdown.

Grats on the 30K single card milestone.

Nice clocks from those pots and if you can get more out of those GPU's from bugging we should see some more records fall on single. 2K1?

Also, kick up the resolution, the score goes up.

A single stage would work well on the gpu's, I have ideas of converting the kryotech into a gpu unit.

    Impressive score Peter!

Did you use 266 strap and PL5? What were the Vgpu on this run?

I have to get my 1HP rotary for this card asap. Seems to be clocking well under cold.
You are as good as your samples are!

Great work! These cards are really impressive except for the cold slowdown. Dice works but it needs to be runn just right or cold bug kicks in. Do you forsee 1100-1200 core without the cold bug?

You rule sham...ALWAYS deliver the goods.
So you dig the pot? I have been working with NVIDIA on cold slowdown and pretty sure we got it fixed at least below -100c its good now. Bios will be circulating soon..
