    The E8400 Commando LN2 Experience, 5.6Ghz

So today I decided to fire up the Commando again and try my E8400 with it. I've been messing with LN2 for about two weeks now and still haven't gone through 25 liters worth.

    Intel E8400 Retail week Q745A
    Crucial Ballistix PC-8500
    Asus Commando bios 1605
MickeyMouse Rev 3 Copper CPU mousepot
    Evga 7800gtx
    Silverstone ST85ZF

    Anyways, here are some pictures:

My DFI P35-T2R had some lock up issues that I couldn't get by without changing the cpu so I decided that stop using that board and try the commando. So far the Commando has been just great. This week I'll be doing all kinds of overclocking and benching. I have a few 8800GTS 512mb cards that I'm going to see how far I can overclock on my Striker Extreme. It should be a fun week.

Got my E8500 in and I need a Vcore mod, that's in the works.

Cold bugs just like my E8400 at -120C, could be my motherboard not sure though.

Somehow I didn't get a real screenshot, just a picture.
    SuperPI 1M at 5.7Ghz

3d03 with my 7800GTX! at 5.7Ghz just to see if it would run, and it did.

    My new benchbox and setup:

Next I will be voltmodding the Commando and using my new makeshift ln2 chipset pot. More to come.

CL5-5-5-15 @ 600Mhz 1:1. I haven't really tweaked memory timings yet, I just didn't want it to be my limiting component. Lots to work on yet, much yet to learn. Exciting stuff though.

    Now that is just amazing.
How high fsb did you boot at ?
Or just setfsb all the way up.

I would boot at 570Mhz then Setfsb it up from there. Although I discovered later that I could raise the nb voltage greater than 1.8 if I booted up at about 550mhz. Not sure why but for some reason I couldn't get the commando to get above 1.8vnb at a higher fsb.

I'm going to be voltmodding my board now, parts just arrived.

Impressive. 3D03 at 9.5X600 with only 1.79 is sick. Good E8500 youve got yourself. Which week is it?

Q740A517 OEM E8500. I think it will do more, I've tested to at least 624FSB but that was the same fsb limit as with my E8400 so I think it's the board at this moment. More to come.

Could be board. My best E8500 does 625mhz on air and dice with unmodded commando, not a mhz more.

I also have a homemade northbridge pot I'm going to try too. Duck said that at -30C or so he gained about 15-20 Mhz fsb. That would be amazing.
