    Sorry if I'm asking the obvious, but how did you get a multiplier of 6 on an e8400? Are these engineering samples that were somehow unlocked, or is there some sort of mod to unlock these? Thanks.

    All core 2 duos can be adjusted from 6x up to the max multiplier of the cpu (so 9x for e8400)

    That kind of SuperPI time would be consistent with approx 590 fsb

    Nice FSB's everyone...
    I havent tried to find my max FSB on my 8400 yet but Ive booted 500x9, so I imagine I could push close to 600...
