For some reason my xp overclock is not as stable as my vista overclock
I was only able to get my video ram clocks up to 1107mhz. in xp.
any clock higher and I would get about halfway through proxycon and it would freeze. no artifacts just freeze. Any ideas? The ambient temps were even cooler this time. all settings in bios remained the same.

I got the Ln2 friday and got home and started prepping the boards.
I used nail polish around the socket area and back of the board and made foam insulation gaskets and spent 3 hours of motherboard prep and installed my thermal probe in the container. once set up I poured a little ln2 and no post. I tried rebooting a few times and clearing cmos..different ram slots..etc.
swapped boards and still no post. no scorch marks on the cpu and unit was making good cpu contact. I have no idea. I tried 2 boards. maybe nail polish messed up the boards? T_M??

no condensation, psu is perfect. I removed the container and put the stock fan on and still no post. Ive tried 2 cpu, different vga, swapped ram and still no post.
any ideas? Maybe use conformal spray next time.
    what a disappointment.

heres a before and morning after pic from my curve.

sad to hear man, you made sure the polish was dry of course, and did you use dielectic grease in the socket? take precautions for static? got any pics of the insulation job.

I never use dielectric grease. with a good insulation job you don't need it.
I don't have any pics of the insulation job but I ordered another p5k3 last night and I have a p5b dlx still. I rma'd the DFI 965s. I'll try again as soon as I get some more boards.
