    The wolds most beautiful country.

New Zealand. I was born here but moved at the age of five and visitsted many times however I had never seen the south island.

So far I have photos from one scenic walk, ill be uploading as much as I can so keep an eye on the link. All photos are not edited they are simply shot and uploaded, the result is breathtaking. Nikon S51 was the camera and I can't thank you enough charlie for your advice.

Yes. i've seen pictures of New Zealand. Of course it was Lord of the Rings that gave NZ mass appeal. Now I must have a look at the link.

Very beautiful indeed, not sure i would go as far as calling it the world's most beautiful country, don't think i could ever make that judgement myself, too many factors and too much subjectivity IMO.

I think it's a personal preference. I love places where there are mountains, coniferous forests and mountain rivers, e.g.

"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

Don't mean to rain on your parade but there are places that look like that everywhere. It looks a lot like places I've been here in California.

I'm sure there are even more particularly nice looking places than what you showed, I'm just commenting on the shots you posted though.

    Still, nice pictures
