3DMark Vantage RC0 screenshots released

Since the original post is in chinese so i translated and put it in en.expreview.com.

These “screenshots” are captured by digital camera. It seems the RC0 version of 3Dmark is not stable, because it can’t even finish the benchmark and reporting errors.

source said his testbed can not finish Graphic Test 2, and all the graphic test/CPU test/feature test can not be ran one right after another or it will crash. The application still have lots to improve.

Just for your information, 3Dmark Vantage is a Vista/DirectX10-only benchmark program and scheduled to be released at GDC on Wednesday the 20th of February 2008. Source said there both release note and spec did not mention DirectX10.1.

I happened to go to the main site today and they have a thread stating, loose quote "Test 2 is DX 10.1 only." So that may be clarification for test 2 not going through.

Plus it mentions the PPU, one can only assume AEGIS's Physx is used. Means people might be able to boost their 3D mark score with one, this also means people might wanna pay for them

dosnt mean it will help your score the cards lowwer your fps in most games that they are in and the cpu dose a better job like in cod4 they use the agea engine on the cpu

Here's Developer Diary which says that no current game can claim to be a DX10 game as you need a DX10 game engine from ground up for it to be the best it can be.

yea hence why Crysis looks basically the same and then you can make it look the same with some tweaking lols
