The amount of times I have considered going to the USA *just* so I can taste/experience all those fast-foods I always see in movies/tv *mmmmm*

i want to see pics of USA style pizza - is it really that flat'n'thin?

i want to see pics of 'White Castle' - I kinda liked that movie 'Harold & Kumar go to White Castle'

I want to see 'grease' from every corner of the globe! so post! NOW!

post any food/drink u like - i'll start; this is what i had for dinner tonight:
nice fresh, soft, fluffy white bread, crisp clean lettuce, home grown tomatoes, cheese & creamy french dressing

I've never eaten at White Castle, but there is a facility located within 10 miles of my place of work. Just for you, I'll be back later today with some disgusting pictures of their Sliders. Just think of what the name implies!!!

I just had some great homemade bacon for breakfast but I eated it It's a little more time consuming than unwrapping a granola bar but oh the wait is worth it

Yes the bottom image above is Chicago Style "deep dish". Many Chicagoans refer to it as "stuffed" as it's a pie crust-like dough (in terms of shape) stuffed with cheese (and any meats or veggies etc) and covered with sauce. It's awesome. A few places ship them worldwide frozen man! It's about 85% as good as right out of the oven at the restaurant (which is still really good)

Below is another pride of my hometown- the "Chicago-style hot dog". Also known as "garden on a bun". All beef frank with mustard, raw onion, tomato, radioactive-green relish, pickle and (optional) hot peppers. Sprinkled with celery salt and served on a steamed poppy seed bun. Ketchup is strictly verboten! Encased meat heaven folks...

The deep dish pizza is at least 3 inches high. Like I said above you can get one sent to you, even in Perth!

so lemme get this straight - the steak is.. 'wrapped' in chicken? or 'just' deepfried?

edit: nvm, read more slowly, understand now

Roger that! But damn I looked further and it's continental US delivery only, at least at Gino's and Giordano's

Oh and btw it's not real greasy at all, for pizza anyway. It's just cheesy and crusty and delicious.

"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."
