    Some Official Cryo-Z news

Ok to feed you some more info I have had permission for an update:

OCZ will ONLY be selling these units direct, (so when I said only available in the USA thats because they will only be on sale from 1 place in the USA)

We will have a few units available from early next week starting 4th feb, I will tell you when they are available here on this forum.

Each unit is hand tested by our engineers, this takes time so units will be released every week or so as they are tested.

We have had delays..yes, we have decided due to the nature of the product its best we sell directly. You will be contacting OCZ to buy and we will be taking credit card orders only at this time.

Please understand we may have less than 10 units available to start, don't go calling now the procedures for payment etc are not in place yet...you will just be turned away.

Shipping to USA and (possibly Canada) Only (I will check Canada) these units have 110V compressors and will not work within a 220V region.

    More next week.

Do not PM me, you know as much as I do now.
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

No, it's because the compressors are 110v, and not 220v so won't run off household mains in Europe.

If it ain't watercooled, I don't wanna know.

    Good news to USA residents

But I was scared when I saw the thread title... Some Official Cryo-Z news -- > DELAY AGAIN!

Only USA and canada lol Guess it would be too expensive to have units handtested by engineers if you should supply world-wide eh xD

Nice. Whenever things get rolling and units start becoming more common, I'll probably have enough money to upgrade my computer and Cryo-Z will definitely be something I'll be looking into!

Sorry for being a rotten person...
But I call BS untill its Im proven wrong on the 4th...

Cryo-Z has been the worst marketing-scam stunt in modern IT history IMO... Its a myth that started back in... 2005-2006 ?
I also assume if they're ever to be launched, they'll be way too weak for modern CPU's, or not at the old price mentioned by OCZ...

Once again, sorry for being rotten - Empiri just has its influence..

Okay, I know I will be accused of hatin' on this product, but since the beginnin' I have been doubting this phase system because of its apparent low load capability. I HOPE I am proven wrong. because it would mean affordable phase for the masses. But I don't see it happening. I foresee (again) a large amount of people purchasing this and asking phase builders to mod it for their intel so-and-so processor that overloading the system. That means a regas, a slhx, brazed captube to the suction line, a larger condenser, shorter cap tube, etc. Can only wait to see. They had better be able to hold a qx6700 B3 @ 4000 mhz 24/7 full load or else they will have issues. But thats just me. Please feel free to argue.

Sorry Ryder, its not to be rude, but seriously, Cryo-Z has had MANY headlines, yet no profes... OCZ should consider NOT keeping rumours alive, but wait that single month 'till release and then "Now this was worth waiting for, aye?"...

something tells me I won't be getting one of these anytime soon 10? ouch thats worse then the wii shortage! I believe OCZ, first almost all companies have set backs, and this isn't exactly their typical product, so a lot had to be done in R&D. Plus I'm sure Fugger would allow AMD or nVidia to have reps here as well, but none of them want to come here and put up with us and the OMGZ where are the new chips! Paper launch! they are never going to come out! they suck!

Thanks OCZ for sticking in there!

I suspect they are doing cc orders only to keep people happy if it turns out the product doesn't work. Sounds like a pilot program.

Why is this lame? English is the standard language so 110 should be the standard voltage.
