Play Crysis DX10 Very High with AntiAliasing 16xQ !!!

    System :

Mainboard Asus Strike II Chipset nVIDIA 780i SLI.
    Core 2 Extreme QX9650 @ 4GHz (400MHz*10).
    Ram 2x1GB Corsair.
    3x Zotac 8800GTX 3-Way SLI.
    PSU Cooler Master 1250W.
    Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit
    Dell 19" Wide

Benchmark timedmo Assault_Harbor. Instead of a good GPU or CPU test, this focus's on real gameplay from a level of the game with active AI, active physics and stressing particle graphics as well. Each run will be somewhat unique since AI and physics are active during test but is a good representation of real gameplay to test your settings against.
    Benchmark at resolution 1280*1024 4AA

Play at resolution 1440*900 4AA + Pinto - Ultra High Quality Costum Config V1.3 Final

Benchmark at resolution 1280*1024 AA 16xQ

The game is awesome, but it's so damn heavy to run lol. I can play on high settings, but when setting stuff to very high i get like 10fps :P

not that i don't appreciate your run.

That resolution doesn't even exist anymore.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

What drivers were used? I have 3 8800GTX overclocked to 650/2000 and I can only maintain 30-45fps at 1680x1050 at very high settings (Vista 64bit) and no AA in DX10.

It sure is. No issues what so ever. This is probably one of the finest PSUs I've ever owned It's only blemish is that some of these Enhance built units are having incompatibility issues with the G92 based video cards. But with my system it's stable as a rock.

28 fps isn't exactly "playable" (I'd hate to see what it is in firefights...) and 1440*900 was a high res back in 2002. Really shows what a horrible game Crysis is... or that nvidia needs to get off their asses and release the next gen hardware that was due out a good 4+ months ago.

Try to use 1920X1200/1680x1050 with no AA because AA slaughters the performance in Crysis because of the foliage and the number of objects etc...
Too bad that TRI-SLi needs Vista to work,Crysis it's ~8-10FPS faster on XP with very High mod than it is on Vista and the quality is ~the same....
And please use some AF because distant textures don't look good + the performance hit shouldn't be big.

Before you complain about lag, think about Jesus. He lagged three days before respawning.

Try with this setup on the second to last boss. I was playing crysis on 1600x1200 with everything on very high but no AA and it was very playable, but when I got to that boss I got some serious lag.

    Your screenshots look great.

given the EXTREMELY poor rendering of the rock in the foreground and the extremely poor foreground water rendering i would say you are not using proper AF setup and possibly even a bilinear filtering to increase your frame rates.

    on the flip side..

SINGLE frame screen shots of a game NEVER look as good as the game in motion.

for me personally the screen shoots are highly suspect,,,, anything 20ft away from your character looks great but anything close looks like frack...
upclose stuff never looks that poor if setup and using proper settings.

i call shinanigans and say you have modified the INF file to produce non standard rendering...

I did give it a try 4 months ago with my 3 x 8800gtx and stopped trying after 10 minutes.
It is simply impossible at this moment to play it fluid @ 2560x1600 on high, definatly forget anything with AA and don't you even think of the word ultra !
It's time for the g200 to show up and put these in tri-sli, than it might be possible to see some nice results @ 2560x1600 8xaa 16xaf
