    E6850 L723A943...in progress

We're limited like always only by ddr...more voltage on it and more mhz on cpu
We hope to find some good stix soon! Btw with this crucial we gained a little bit.

    (-171.82Mhz from Wr )

    P5K Vanilla (pcb china, REV 1.02G, VPll,Vdimm,Vdrop,Vcore@OVP)
    E6850 L723A943 @ 1.92v
    Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC8500 @ 2.9v
    VGA S3 Virge PCI
    WD Raptor 74Gb
    OCZ Powerstream 520W (VIO 3.49v)
    LN2 Pot from Little Devil
NB & SB Cooling By Lunasio-Cooling.it
    Bench Table By Dimastech
    Boot @ 600x9

    5741.78 MHZ

    Validation HERE

Looool Here you can see us trying get up temps too low (too much LN2 in da pot ) running some spi @ 5640mhz -158°
But LN2 won and Coldbug arrived

    Your Ballistix 8500 can't do better than 638 5-5-5 at 2.9V??

You must have some very bad samples, mine run close to 690 5-5-5 with 2.55V 1M stable.

Did you try to lower the voltage, perhaps they run too hot?

Do you know the difference between divisors and 1:1 ?
With divisors we can get over 700mhz The problem is with 1:1 at this fsb and frequency. Of course we tried from 2.6v to 3v and we can see the better only with more voltage in 1:1...we are waiting for adata 9600 and teamgroup 9600

You mean running 1:1 is harder on the memory than with a divider??

I don't see how that effect memoryspeed, i can imagine it will be harder on the chipset but not on the mem itself but i'm sure you guys know what you're talking about.

I would have thought it's just fsb running out of breath.

    Good luck pushing it.

Maybe you're right, couse we have mch and fsb at stock value no mod on it
Btw i'm talking about memory couse pushing up voltage on ddr we gain on fsb and mhz
We'll try on week to mod mch and fsb And with 0414 Bios that seem to be the better...now we are with latest

Today we tried to mod vmch @ 1.83v and lower vpll till 2.33v... a little better for our fsb

    Validation HERE

Also max Freq increased to 5781 anyway we're sorry but we don't have validation
So we tried to do some superpi, timings not so tight but we'll try soon for under 9" score...
    Here what we done today
