Thanks man! $224 shipped in California. Best price anywhere. Probably have to wait until the 25-30th like everyone else for the MSI cards to arrive to the vendors unless Dell has a special arrangement.
Already have a refurb Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZV9 VGA Cooler that i picked up for $25 on ebay. Plan to flash with the evga SSC 700/2000 bios or even a higher custom one. Can't wait! =)

Tack on a whopping $32 for taxes and shipping which brings it to 240.23 for me here in Calie, yet still, it IS cheaper then anywhere else and it's even factory overclocked a bit to give it a running start. Nice find, thanks.

EDIT: Scratch that, a quick double check on shipping calc. found that it defaults to Next Business Day for $16 bones. Set it to standard and it's only $4.99. Total is now $223.07. Peachy -- ordered. -- Gimmeh!

I just saw 8800 gt's locally for 299-319 depending on the model (and yes they are in stock)... I was bummed cause I don't feel like spending that much.

This has got me thinking though... but it does say 1-2 weeks until it ships.

    I'm trying to hold out.

    Current System Specs:

    E5300-R0 @ 4013 Mhz (321x12.5) w/ Scythe Mugen II Cooler
    ASUS p5b Deluxe
    4 x 1gb Corsair DDR2-800 4-4-4-12
    BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC2 Edition @ 742/1728/999 w/ Accelero S1
Sony AW-G170A (Reflashed to Optiarc 7170A)
    Thermaltake V3 Case
    Enermax Liberty 500w PSU
    2xWD160ABYS, WD2502ABYS, WD3200YS and ST3400620A

New toy, Q6600 on the way.

Ill say this again about Dell.

Dell ship times are in no way "correct"

Just cross your fingers and hope. Maybe it will ship soon, maybe it wont.

If you just ordered now... there are probably 5000-10,000 orders in front of you. Good luck with that.

$224 delivered & overclocked to 670?! That's all it took for me to take the plunge. I've been very happy with MSI in the last few years...

Your name is blue, so I will go with what you said.

Nah, but this is just like Dell offering the latest processors that we are all expecting, but Dell offers them before release, but when you read the fine print, if you select that component, your order is delayed.

But, it's released, and a good deal.

I will replace my 8800GTS 640mb with either the G92 8800GTS 128-shaders, any 9000-series card (nVIDIA), or an R700 ATI card.
Whatever is the best come January.

I just hope Dell has some sort of real-time inventory control, otherwise I can see this ending up badly for some people.
