Anyone know what SMD's should be placed on the back of the board behind the CPU?

Steve, why exactly do you want to do that?
Pretty open ended question, so here's an open ended answer:
All SMD that you possibly can to make the backside look hardcore :P

SMD capacitors is what I would think, but I was wondering if anyone might know what value would be best or if they are connected to vcc or vfsb or vpll or what.... dont just want to toss any old ones on there and cause fire or something lol.

as i know, it has no ovp, like rog mobo's (blitz, maximus...)
mod: but okay, every mobo has ovp, you can't just coil up 2.0v++ vcore
i think the grabber will work fine, but don't tried...

I've run up to 2.31Vcore with this board, so the OVP is definitely above 2.31V

If you can get some thin SMD grabbers, yeah they'll work

[ I know it's been 2 months since this post, but whatever...since I'm going to post something, I said "hit it" ]

I think it's possible, didn't look for it ( since I prefer hard mods ) but there's just a tiny tiny almost in-existent Vdroop on this mobo with LoadLine Calibration enabled.

    -------------Vmch mod now---------------
The Vmch mod shown above is correct, but I have something that bothers me a bit, and I'd like to hear from anyone with a Vmch modded P5K3 Deluxe if he had any issues when running the board with a Vmch of 1.8V-1.85V.
Because I think that the SB PCI-E controller is using the same PWM as a feed ( def. SB PCI-E voltage is 1.50V for ICH9R AFAIR ).

    Whoa, that smells deadly

I've run 1.96Vmch for testing maximum 32M stability on this board... haven't had any visible problems so far. But which kind of problems are you referring to? SATA / USB instability? Heat related crashes? Or something else?
