    Unhappy Second thoughts ...

    Hey all,

    Little back story -

My current system is a AMD s939,Nvidia Nforce,Gigabyte mATX ,ATI 1900XT combo, now I guess what some people who will look at my post history will say is what happened to the BadAxe and 6600ES build, well that got mothballed as it had stablity problems and noise issues that i honestly gave up trying to solve. I transfered what i could from that build however to my aformentioned "backup" AMD rig and made that my main system and has been so for the last year. The BadAxe and the ES are still here however, lurking in the pile of stuff in the corner of the room.

2 Weeks ago i started to get the itch to rebuild/build a new system but recycle as much stuff as I could to keep costs down, plan was to get a fancy new case as id been eyeing up the Z-Machine for a while, a new PSU and a new DX10 video card and prehaps a new mobo and re use the ES and DDR2 from the "failed" build. This though various thought processes(some pratical and some "feeling" based that i wont bore you with) has now turned into a almost completely new AMD build.

Which brings me to my post here - http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/....php?p=2502355

Im having doubts as to weather the 790/AMD part of the plan is the "right" thing to do, im also thinking i may cancel the order for the 2900 and wait for the cooler/quieter/less power useing RV780 and makeing do with the 1900XT in the mean time.

I have untill early monday morning to work out if I am to revise my plans as after that i will be unable to cancel/return orders.

Guess Im haveing buyers remorse here heh, only this time its more noticable then normal for some reason I cant quite work out.
