    yes, 0505.

late November? early December? $1,000USD should be the official retail price.

Picking up a new board soon, was thinking of getting a P35 as apart from improved CF (which im highly unlikely to need) the X38 seems to have no real benefits.Buyt the question i have is how does this chip do on a P35 board? Will this be where the X38 boards will start shinning when these new chips come out?

Not all Q9650 will have unlocked multi's.

This one has cause it's an ES (Engeneering Sample).

uhhh.....please correct me if i'm wrong but all "Extreme" processors are unlocked.

That's why they call them "Extreme".

and not all "ES" processors are unlocked. I can prove it with the penryn sitting on my desk locked at a 7 multi.

Take a look at the screen shot again.

And as far as I know their is no Q9650. It will be a QX9650.
