    [Denny] GSKILL DDR2 1000 4GB (2x2GB) testing

got some sample last week. quick tests on weekend.

however, this IC is not working well with voltage. 2v~2.05v is the best spot.

i only set 2v on Dfi bios

    CL5-5-3-15 DDR2 1100

    CL4-4-3-12 DDR2 800

    max run with 2v @ DDR2 1129 1M

it should be cheap ~$200 i think

    Question:

What's the difference between these and the F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ?

Why are they so cheap? They are even cheaper than their other 4GB kits that are DDR800...

I wonder if these have the new Elipida 70nm ICs in them?

Anyway, I would like to use these 4 x 2 GB in a P35 mobo with a Q9350 (45nm) for something like 8 x500 on air. These should do the trick.

running some prime now. Fedex sucks and didnt deliver on time.

At any rate... looks like i am easily able to hit 1020MHz @ ~2.0V on a p5k deluxe.

not bad at all for the price.

It's just Powerchip, nothing fancy. Still nice results.

The 4GBPQ has a great price (200?) for 4GB and 1000MHz 5-5-5-15. Unfortunately they are indeed limited with overclocking and voltage usage, but 4GB@1000MHz is fast "enough".

They are not bad, as you can see from the test results. With overclocking it is not as good as Micron D9xxx, but is very cheap for 4GB (2x2GB). So, don't expect more then this.
