    hey guys

    got a nice chip for a comp i am going to attend next week and did some testing to see if it's any good or what


    TEST SETUP
    • E6850 L724A105
    • C-BuZz Blackbox SS Rotary 1HP
    • Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P F6 bios
    • Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 F3 bios
    • PCI MX400 Nvidia GFX
    • 2x1GB Corsair PC10000 week 8 '07
    • 160GB Samsung 7200RPM IDE
    • 620W Corsair HX620 Modular PSU
    • WinXP Pro SP2



    Got a HARD FSB WALL at 552Mhz




    basically got a 552MHz FSB wall at all multis

    Validation with 9x multi (clearly i could have benchmarked at 5Ghz easy aaaaargh)

    SuperPi 1M @ 4923MHz = 10.266s




    SuperPi 32M @4.9GHz = 10m 11.151s




    4.9GHz wPrime 32M



    4.8GHz wPrime 1024M



    4.9GHz Hexus Pifast = 19.17s






    WATERCOOLING TESTS ADDED (Corsair Nautilus 500)


    it's actually not too bad on water either with Gigabyte X38-DQ6

    ...... dual 8M SuperPi at 4GHz with 1.44v loaded >> i'd say 3D stable there too but would need to test
