    MORE mod my Shuttle







    Cutting:







    I bought 2 CoolMaster 80mm fans, because they are cheap and quiet......

















    Looks like the turbo head......hah!





    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Now, when it run at idle for few hours, and the room temp is about 22'C

    CPU (Q6600 B3): 36'C
    GPU (8800GTS): 38'C
    NB: 34'C

    (PS: CPU+GPU+NB in the same loop)

    haven't tested for fun load.... but will post soon

    Very nice


    I might attempt something similar with my Tt lanparty case
    lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's

    this is what I using for cutting: only $40+ AUD in Bunnings, it comes with all accessories included the cutting wheels

    Could you not have squeezed a pair of 25mm fans on the inside (i.e. underneath the rads) instead of doing the fans on the outside?

    small watercooled cases are really good projects. Congrats to you.
    Try to sleeve the fan wires until the point of connection. You left a lot of wire for us to see

    Are the barbs soldered on?

    What's the O.D. on the barbs if they are soldered?

    Yeah, sorry the size is deceptive... and I missed the caption about the fans... I thought it was 120mm fans on there.

    I tried..... but that would tooooo close to the PSU.

    yes! it is dual 80mm 4 pass radi, and bought from ebay


    It would cause some issues if put those 2 fans inside, but I will try later......

    you can mod too your Corsair Nautilus for better temps...a better 120mm rad and fan

    its very very worth the upgrade. The Corsiar uses alu i believe as its rad. You'll get better performance at lesser fan noise with that.

    my 8800gts run at 620/2000 (original 580/1800 by XFX)
    (my room temp ~ 20-22'c)
    idle: 37'c
    load: 47'c

    I live in brisbane.

    I just bought a dremel 2day cost me 150bucks @ bunnings its the lion cordless one.

    Tried cutting some mesh broke 10 cutting discs doh

    I did it as slow and stead as posible still broke.I thought no way this is gonna cut through my case aluminium panels.So i went and bougt a $50 jigsaw lol

    I Don't know how everyone cuts through steel cases with a dremel aye would take 4eva!!!

    Oh well i'll try again i think i need some better bits.

    I use WISS snips, check out this thread I posted @ i4memory, it takes me only a couple of minutes to cut ANY size/shape hole
