    Talking Conroe-L >>> a.k.a. Intel Celeron 460ES Socket 775 >>> AMD Killlaaaar >>> SS rotary

    Hardware Used:
Intel S775 Celeron460ES (single core) aka Conroe-L (thanks to wwwww for the CPU...still trying to kill it mate but not with much success )
Gigabyte 680i rev2 (FA bios stock)
    Corsair PC10000 Dominator 2GB Kit
SS Blackbox Phase Change (finally blown off the cobwebs ) R290 from barbacue bottle
    PCI MX400 Nvidia GFX card
    60GB Maxtor IDE Drive
    Corsair HX620 620W PSU

    Ambients around 19-23C

I was too lazy to install the OS again so i just used the XFX 680i mobo install and it was a bit farked up and it kept freezing in windows so i booted safe mode and ran diagnostics windows setup and it worked sooooo here we go

    .........

HAHAHAH THE TEMP SENSOR IS A JOKE HEHEHE -78C hahaha

DID YOU GUYS SEE THE ICE AROUND THE SOCKET AND AROUND EVAP EEK

    SuperPi 1M

    SuperPi 32M

    wPrime 32M & 1024M

They better release AMD CPUs capable of beating at least these things

    haha thanks

yeap i will put it on P35 mobo as well as for some reason there was a CPU MHz wall at that frequency regardless of vcore which i've used up to 1.9v

FSB at lower multi went to 410 or so

i reckon i could max it out just hoping P35 will like it a bit better

dinos22, totally OT but wow I didn't realize you were running 4-33 at nearly 600MHz! What kinda volts do you need on the dominator's to do that? Can you do that 1:1?

nah man not OT at all
yeah these dominators are sweet as sweet
    2.4vdimm basically

1:1 would be a problem with 680i...i've never heard of this chipset scaling to such FSB but i see no reason why it wouldn't go that high 1:1 if the chipset AND my CPU could do that lol

well this celeron has a FSB wall at around 410 but E6700 is around 550 with lots of cold

yeah i've seen eva do 600 with his sticks at these timings too i think on 680i

    P965/P35 this kit with do 595-600MHz 4-4-4
dominators don't like going above 2.45v

over@locker886: your 32M is way too fast for those clocks :p

i will play with my E6700 with the mobo but there is no way in hell i could be that bad efficiency wise....must be something to do with the chips as i just looked at other HWBOT submissions and they all look very fast for the Mhz, clocks and latencies on the Celeron 430 >> in fact i think that is more realistic than Celeron 460 as extra cache on conroe ONLY helps in 1M

have a look at this run

it's FAST lol.........but i will check "fast" with E6700 just to compare

something is very strange here that is for sure

even the 1M times look a bit out on Celeron 460 WTF

i had a look at Celeron 430 entries and none of them were ES CPUs
maybe there is a bug with ES CPUs or higher multies

doubt it's a board issue as there are others in Celeron460 submissions including Asus Blitz which are slower than my runs

    will have to investigate this

    1 : Abit-Quad-GT is really fast..
    2 : I used tweaked Win2003

My Celeron time is about half-min slower than Conroe's.

sorry i don't think that is the reason

if you have a really fast board you could beat me by 10 seconds but not 5 minutes

must be some issue with these chips (Celeron460)

Maybe ES chips slower than retail.. B2 vs B1ES..
