    Can anyone identify this IC?

    Well, found some Corsair ValueRAM, PC2-4300 (533Mhz) runs at 4-4-4-12 @ 1,8v.

Just want to know the IC before i try to start overclocking it.

Model number on sticker is: VS512MB533D2, code under that, which looks to be the bar code is 0607229-0-678914.
The chips themselves have Corsair branding on them...I can't read any of the tiny tiny letters sadly And i don't have a magnifying glass!

The ram has the following numbers on the rear:
    BP MILL E186014
    B62URCD 1.00

And here are two pictures, one shows the shape and size, the other the labelling. My camera is crap though

Oh wow, the last image, it has a focus on a chip, which may help:

    Help?

Looks like Elpida chips to me, but your pics aren't really good enough to tell for sure.

All physical properties point to Elpida, but on the bottom of the IC it says '93G', which is typical for Powerchip.
This IC is probably the result of a joint venture between the two companies.

Nice, well, tried clocking it alongside my Corsair XMS2 (I know, the XMS2 can do 920 easily), had it running a good few passes of memtest at: 4-4-4-12-AUTO @2v at DDR2-667. Which, i am very happy with, it won't do anything above 670 at these settings.

    It doesn't matter mind, it's in a 3,7Ghz Pentium D 805 setup, which i've been optimising.

Oh, and after a nice few hours stress testing, it's not too warm to the touch either. (Used an enti-static wrist strap while checking).

Not too bad an overclock for valueram, and only at +.2v. (This is only +.1v on my Corsair XMS2)

    Thankyou all for your help!

    Crappy, but hey! :p

i had 3 of these kits. they all topped out around 470mhz at 5-5-5-15 with 2.3 volts. it did not matter wut volts i used cuz higher volts did not get higher results. they are worth the money if your on a tight budget. mine ran 450 stable at 2.2 volts all day long. sorry i have no pics of the results didnt think it was a priority with them sticks lol. good luck
