    775 Mobo Backplate Recommended - Yes! (Photos)

    The last time I tore down my rig, I added two MCW30s (hard mounted) and two EK MOSFET Blocks. I also did some flow tests.

    When I mentioned that the MOSFET blocks were difficult due to the Mobo bending, a few wise people commented on using a back plate. After looking at it again, man, should have seen that much bending - duh.

    I bought a Scythe back plate from Petra and can show some before and after.

    Back plate really works great. No bending at all from the storm mount as before. It is not all golden, see next post for after pictures.
