DFI LP P35 Highest FSB WR of DDR2 Single channel and Dual Channel by Andre and Oskar

Oskar and I have some tests in the DFI lab before this mobo is available next week.
First, we need to make sure this mobo should be done highest fsb and we remove Digital-PWM and southbridge heatsink, change north bridge heat sink.
    CPU cooling is cascade.

Single Channel DDR2 WR FSB 672.5

Dual Channel DDR2 WR FSB 666

Here is some pics for sharing to everyone.

Thanks Oskar Wu make good motherboard again.

    What a chip!

What's the stepping code of this E6850?

    Very nice Andre!

The FSB is outstanding, but I don't think it is a single channel WR.
The record right now is 789MHz if I am not mistaken.

The 672FSB is very nice nonetheless

Edit: I understood the old title the wrong way. I was thinking Andre was talking about DDR2 single channel WR, but he was not. It's completely fine what you wrote Andre. FSB WR using single and dual channel

what can we expect from a retail board under normal cooling (air - water) ?

I think I read something that Oskar's goal is 600MHz FSB out of the box. But I don't think we will be seeing that FSB on a daily basis. CPUs are also a limiting factor at that speed
