I can see the Asus QVL in 2 years:
    ASUS DDR3 1333
    ASUS DDR3 1600
    ASUS DDR3 2000

All other memory will void the warranty.

I saw the memory on one of the MB pics 1-2 days ago. Thought it was just show for the eye. But its always nice with another player ofcourse.

But its also yet another sign of the polarization of the market we see. Its getting more and more single vendor oriented.

At least we know it will work with the board. They could make a bunch of us PK5 owners really happy and come out with some decent priced ddr2 1200 2x2 gig kits , now that would rock.

Still. I'd rather wait until they get into lower CAS ranges before buying.

Its actually not bad at all if you calculate the real latency in ns. C8@1333Mhz and C9 at 1600Mhz.

So DDR3-ICs look like DDR1-ICs... That means DDR4-ICs will look like DDR2-ICs :P

SO whats left for Asus to produce untill we could get a 100% Asus-PC?
We already have: Mainboards, RAM, Video Cards, CPU-HSF, Fans and Cases.
Only PSU missing in that list (CPU doesnt count). That would be almost console-like. Could bring some benefits with it in terms of 100% compatibility..

    Hmmm 2.3V and CL5 + DDR3 667 or maybe 800MHz.

Not bad but cas latency on ddr 3 sticks is not good
