    First DDR3 WorkStation Motherboard , ASUS P5K64 WS FSB 500 Test(56K Warning)

    DDR3 is coming soon. ASUS will have many DDR3 mobos in the market.

    P5K64 WS is the first DDR3 WS mobo. ASUS P35 WS also has DDR2 version, P5K WS.

    really like to see how kentsfield perform on this mobo..

    how they divide the bandwidth for each pcie? same as P5W64 pro?

    It's impoprtant to note that the P5K WS will NOT have 4 pci-e slots, but 2 pci-e and 2 pci-x.

    i love the placement of all of the sata, power connectors and headers. right on the edge like that will help with wire managment

    but what HD is that?



    nice board again, although the stock cooling looks really lacking, but again this is more of a workstation platform, most people in that area wont be overclocking.

    really diggin the orange and black. Halloween themes rock on MOBO~S

    WD360 on google tells me that it is a 10,000 RPM Western Digital Raptor 36GB. Everyone always forgets the google.

    Looks nice. I would be tempted if it had 8 SATA ports, but with 6 it is just another 6 SATA port board for me
