    Nvidia 158.16 leaked

    32 Bit XP Version: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=221342

Gained me a cool 530 '06 points with same OC. A nice leap in performance for the 8800 series in XP. Now all we need is this kind of improvement in Vista with OC'ing support and I am happy.

Yeah, same question as metro.cl: Is this just for the 8800 series or for the regular geforce series too?

Tried it on my 7800gt on xp pro. Would not let me install. Google'd it and it appears so far to be only for the 8 series cards. Anyone else?

there is also the 158.18 vista (both 32/64 bit) version available on the nvidia site.

I installed these drivers (the vista x86 version) last night. Here is what i found:

    1) installation was smooth. no problems
    2) 3dmark06 dropped about 80pnts (but other report an increase)
    3) no fan control
    4) no DV
    5) ATITool works fine with it.
    6) Half-Life2 seems a tad bit smoother.

thats as far as i got with the testing.
    * make sure you follow the instructions for installation.

here is the link for the vista x32 version
