    XFX 7900GT Vmod on new PCB

    I was looking into volt modding my 7900gt and eventually came to realize that my board is different from the board used in all the other 7900gt vmod guides.

    The information on this board is limited and was hoping you guys could help.
    From what I have found, this board used the same pcb as another XFX card, the 6800xt I believe.

    Also, there is an IC on the board with the designation: RT9218.

    This chip is very similar to the RT9214 IC that is used on some other boards. The main difference is the addition of a linear power controller. In fact, if you cut the chip in half, you get the same exact chip as the RT2914.

    Here are the datasheets:
    RT9214
    RT9218

    Pins 1-4 are the samefor both chips, and pins 11-14 [RT9218] are the same as 5-8 [RT9214], respectively.

    I've noticed that the RT9214 used used to control Vgpu on other boards, and can be adjusted by adding a 20K pot between pins 6 and pin 3 (ground).

    This corresponds to pins 12 and pin 3 on the RT2918. I wonder if that would work.
    I'm might be willing to try it, but I need more information, like, where exactly can I check the voltages for the GPU and Memory? I tried checking the voltage at various locations and found voltages ranging from 1.2v-2.0V.

    I have no idea about changing the memory voltage.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    I have the xFX 7900GT 470M 256MB DDR3 VIVO(black pcb and with the xfx side bar)
    and here are my results (bad) when vmod with the pencil
    Code:
    7900gt
    vmod pencil

    pencil hb
    from 608ohm to 550ohm
    -> 2.24V
    max 727Mhz ram (1454Mhz)

    cooling:
    liquid coling
    coolermaster nvidia 6000 (gpu & ram)
    in idle 30° gpu
    in idle 28° cpu

    from 550ohm to 608ohm
    -> 2. V
