What ICs are under the hood of these sticks?

I am probably going to be getting the following
    SUPER TALENT
    T800UX2GC4
because ramlist lists them as having D9s under the hood

However, I am strongly attracted to the prices of the following:
    CORSAIR
    XMS2
    TWIN2X2048-6400

    and

    G.SKILL
    F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ

though they are not listed on ramlist, so I'm not sure if they're worth it or not

    Which brings the question:
Does anyone know what ICs are in the listed sticks, and whether they will likely clock as well as the Super Talent T800UX2GC4, and if there is a difference, how great?

(Additional Info: will be running in a DS3 with an E6300)

Get the G.skill HZ's, they are D9. If you wanna go cheaper get the HK's, they are promos but they clock like D9's (check out enjoy's review of them and vr-zone's review.)

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I wanna go for the Gskill HKs, but I cannot find them in stock anywhere (though the listed prices are awesome... probably why they're OOS).

I can find 1x 1GB, but it's $20 more expensive than the 2x1GB to get two.

Basically all I'm looking for is something that will do DDR2-880 at 5-5-5-15 for $200. or under. I know some of the Cas 4 DDR2-800 sticks for $180 or so are bound to do it, but I'm not sure which ones. If you have any suggestions, please do tell =D

Just recieved a set of F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ - don't know whats under the spreaders, but so far they are happy at ddr900 w/ 2.1v and 5-4-5-15 timmings. Almost booted into windows at ddr1000 w/ 2.2v and 5-5-5-20. also seem to like less voltage - 2.3v and 2.4v actually hurt - ddr1000 didn't even post w/ 2.3v.

that's because they are ProMOS IC's as r00n said. your results only confirm this.
Micron D9 IC's love high voltages. promos and PSC ICs on the other hand perform best at 2.1-2.2V

yep - 2 hours of orthos blend and about 1/2 hour of memtest after that - good enough for me.

update - seems like there is still room to grow.

Jeez. Not bad for cheap, low-binned chips, eh?

Especially going for $168.99 for 2GB on the egg

Hmm you must share your bios timings with me. I got the same set here, but I haven't gotten that high with them yet.

My G.Skill NQ arrived Thursday. I have it running at DDR2 860 right now, 5-6-6-17. I haven't really pushed the timings yet. I'm pretty sure this stick can do 5-5-5-18, just haven't tried yet.

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=178286

Psst, G.Skill technician... you'll be happy to know I'm now a proud G.Skill customer and will buy from G.Skill again :P

    //EDIT: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=178588
Got 'em to run 4-4-4-12 at DDR2 860. My DS3 rev 3.3 overvolts the ram by .1. I didn't realize this at first, and attempted 4-4-4-12 at =.4V, which didn't work due to the the DS3 overvolting too high (2.3V instead of the 2.2V it should be). However, I noticed in Speedfan it read the Vcore2 as 2.3V. Now I have it changed to +.3V and it's running happily, with speedfan reporting 2.2V Vcore2.
    Gonna do memtest now =D

It would seem pretty much my only option for getting the sticks higher is to run a higher FSB and the e6300 down at 6x multi. I'm not very confident that the sticks will do 4:5 at FSB 430 (DDR2 1075=527.5MHz), and I don't want to push the CPU too much as it already runs 70C under load in coretemp. Oddly enough, that decreased from 75C when I put the side of the case back on. I guess having a loud noisy case fan 1mm away from the Scythe Mine (yes, the clearance is about 1mm - scared me half to death putting it on as I didn't know for sure it would fit) with about half the fan behind the scythe (behind, being on the intake side) and half directly over it.

I think I'll try for DDR2-1000 later today.

    Update:
    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=178854
    5-5-5-15 at DDR2 1000

    Update (again):
Hitting a wall at anything much over 510. I tried all available vdimm settings. The processor did 3.5GHz, but wouldn't even complete SPI that fast. The FSB needed +.01V to get over 500. I think I'm happy with this: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=178867
