    Cool 4GB G.Skill 6400PHU2 HZ Micron D9GMH @500Mhz 4-4-4-12 at 2.25v on Asus 680i Striker

Some folks say 4x1GB has issues on 680i boards for orthos blend test. So thought I'd try it out

4x1GB G.Skill 6400PHU2 2GB HZ Micron D9GMH 629 batch for the first time on Asus 680i Striker Extreme.

    System:
    • Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 L627A872 B2 Step 6
    • Swiftech Apogee/Radiical Triple Fan Single Pass Rad/MCP655 + Kayl 100W Custom PSU
    • Asus 680i Striker Extreme 0402 bios
    • 4x1GB G.Skill 6400PHU2 2GB HZ Micron D9GMH 629 batch
    • 4x80GB Hitachi 7K80 SATAII Raid 0 on SATA3 to SATA6 ports
    • Pioneer DVD Burner
    • 600W OCZ EvoStream

very good! spi 1m should get an advantage of running 4x1gig, more bank interleaving to be done then with 2x1gig.

very impressive though, ddr2-1000 4-4-4 wont be seen in the realm of 2x2gigs for a LONG time. very good work

i no longer use a laptop.

32bit windows... yeah I know not all memory is addressed. But I am just trying to confirm what some users reported on 680i boards that regardless of 32bit/64bit windows they could not orthos blend stable 4x1GB even at stock speeds.
