For starters, post the codes of all the ICs (integrated circuits; small black rectangles) with 8 or more legs.
If you can, pictures of the card are nice too.
Also, I would recommend you google "7600GS volt mod", just to get familiar with volt modding and your particular card.
Thank you Nerfy.I have searched google but i had no luck in finding vmod for my GLH version. I've found vmods only for the simple versiontonight i'll upload some pics with the board
Thank you and i wait for some sugestions![]()

Before we can help we need pictures/IC codes.
I know but i don't have a camera and is hard to find one..Thank you again Nerfy

Ah, I see.
The IC codes should be fine.
I found the IC codes:
LM 358 2AGJC
APW7120 G18X3
APW7120 G18X3
I don't know if that are the IC's but that is writed on "the things with 8 legs"![]()

Ah, excellent.
On both the APW7120, solder a 20,000 ohm variable resistor between pin 6 and ground.
For voltage readpoints, check the legs of capacitors (cylinder things). Stick the black probe from your multimeter into a black ground wire from a molex plug to make it easier.
Default voltage should be around 1.3 for Vgpu and around 1.9 for Vmem.
You mean this card? BLISS 7600GS 256MB GS GLH
I need too vmods![]()
I've found only this topic about the vmod of this card, but I dont understand the language: http://4um.ocguru.cz/showthread.php?p=681553
here is the pcb layout:

Put a pic with te back of ta videocard
About that card i mean
What tipe of memory have your videocard?

If your card has the same APW7120 chip(s), the mod is the same.Originally Posted by Achill3uS
If it doesn't, post the IC codes/front and back pictures of the card.
Catalanu:
a picture of your card would be useful.
but, by the names of the voltage controllers (apw7120), i guess my mod will help you
look here
Rig 1:
Abit NF7 v2.0 (L12 mod, VDD mod, VDIMM mod, VDrop mod, BIOS mod) /dead AGP slot / dead VDimm Mosfet

Rig 2:

I found some things about the ic-s here http://www.alldatasheet.com/datashee...C/APW7120.html
Tonight i will study more deepley and maybe in this weekend i will make the mod.

Mod is just 20k trimmer between pin 6 and ground for APW7120. Since you have two chips, do the same mod for both Vgpu and Vmem.
Is there something else you are not sure about? Don't hesitate to ask.
Ok.I understand.I shoul put a 20Kohmi rezistor variable on the 6th pin on each AWP7120,right?
But i dont know how to find the V measure point.Plz help me.
Thank u again Nerfy

For the actual mod, you got it right; solder a 20k variable resistor between ground and the 6th pin. I like to use a convenient ground point when I do my mods. Sometimes it is a molex, sometimes a monitor plug ground point, etc. You can even use the case itself if you want too.
Ok man.10x.I understand everything.Today i will go to shop to buy what i need and maybe tonight u will see something nice![]()

any news??
can u post some pics with the mod done plz?

I still didn't made the mod because i'm very busy with the school.Maybe in yhis week i will make it.

hi to all xtremists![]()
i have a question ,on my 7600 gt from expertvision/palit(not the sonic version ,i think, pcb is different),on the back of the board there are two apw 7065 ics ,im pretty sure these are the chips i have to mod ,but i dont wanna burn anything ,so the question is ,is it the same as with the apw 7021 ics ,two 20 kohm resistors between pin 6 and ground ??,from what i found on the net the pinouts are the same .I also found a picture on a site ,unfortunately i dont understand the language, with a board like mine and some voltmod markings ,but nothing more .
If anyone could edit a photo in paint to show me how to measure the current voltages ,i would apreciate a lot .iI tried capacitor leg and molex black wire and the result is 0,2 v,i must be doing it wrong
ill upload the photo tonight (now im at work)
LE:the pcb looks pretty much the same as the one of the 7600 gs above

Ask Nerfy.Today i will make the mod.
PS: i see u are from romania like me.From what city?
