Is that coolermaster the "fujin" that we've all been waiting for?
And are those normal temps for the QX6700? Godamn that's hot, I have a Tuniq Tower for mine I hope it's enough lol.

I kinda had a feeling that hugh Cooler master was not gonna beat Tuniq or the Infinity. You should try that new Ultra-X, that looks good.

sadly, this is close to what I was expecting... did you pressure mount the scythe infinity? If not, It would be better than cooler monster.
edit: nvm, I see the infinity is NOT pressure mounted. IMO Infinity is better.

You should try the Ultra-X (good suggestion Scy) and maybe the butterfly thingy for the hell of it lol. Replace the Noc and Zalman for these 2.

The Geminii is better than the Infinity imo simply because it cools the whole upper half of the mobo. Besides, its not fair to compare a modded infinity with a stock geminii, maybe a modded geminii will trump the modded infinity.

if the Geminii comes with the crappy plastic mounting pins, it too can be modded in the same way as the infinity. If it doesnt...I dont know what else you can really do to it sxcept for lapping and/or adding faster fans.

I do not think the GeminiII uses plastic pegs. If it did, I would be scared to stand my case up.

Great heatsink testing from the air-cooling champ PcCI2iminal
Glad to see the Infinity on top.

Cool, however the Noctua is more designed for good temps at low rpm/silence.
try using a single 1000rpm 120mm and see which gets the best temps please

10x for the comparison
GeminII is not that good as all here write, but he cools CPU, motherboard chipset, VR's and Ram Memory
I have "tested" Infinity (with pressure mount) and Noctua and the NH-U12 cool the CPU by 2-3-4C better. But this with low rpm fan (I hate noise). Now my E6400 is running 3504Mhz 1.30V with ~45C load temp (~25C room).
PcCI2iminal - test the Tuniq, maybe he will bite GeminII (with 3 fans)

Thanks for the report PcCI2iminal
Can you do a round of tests with Yate Loons running somewhere in between 1200 and 1600 rpm? It'd be nice to see how these guys do with 40-50cfm vs 104cfm.
Also, I can't seem to get near 71C at 1.38V (1.4775V in BIOS), 267x13 (3.47GHz) with my Zalman 9700 at full blast. On an open-air desk I get about 84C @ load with Orthos. Are you using any special mount for your Zalman?

odd, every single review ive seen tells that the noctua is beaten by both the infinity and the tuniq. When testing a modded tuniq & scythe infinity, the results were exactly the same, only when the tuniq fan was turned up all the way did it beat the scythe by 1c.

Great Results. I think his tests show how much of an impact the Gemini (Fujin) can have on both PWM and NB temps. Waiting for this cooler.

I have my infinity in a push/pull and it works great, but from the results i can see that a push/push gets 1*c less. I wonder what a push/push/pull/pull would do? I may have to try that tonight.

PcCI2iminal, great tests! if you test it again try Scythe Infinity with two 80 mm (or others) fans both pushing and attached like this:
