Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Have been looking around for what seems like months to finalise move to conroe all parts are sorted except mobo.

Naturally enough i have looked at many of the Asus boards
ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP iP965
Striker
Asus Commando ROG Intel P965 PCI-E
Asus P5N32-E SLI NF680i SLI, S 775, PCI-E (x16),
ASUS P5WD2-E Premium i975X,
Etc.,
Now i joined the forum asked questions about heatpipes , am using Lian Li v200 so it's inverted atx. Struggled to get thread started got a couple of answers, probably maded amistake by housekeeping & clearing down cookies couldn't log on again. Saw a lot of complaints re forum performance, Tried to contact webmaster twice no responce.

Just looking for info on commando tonight 1) there seems to be 2 sites asus & Zeus asus ????wtf

followed the link to get the manual Commando Manual Link after 2x false starts web page frezes etc., managed d/load only to find this link is to some old mobo. Should have clocked the date 1st i guess 2001/12/18 update .

Now i have 8mb b/band works great eveywhere else. Are my experiences unique or are Asus wbsites & therefore asus support just C?*p.

I asked abit the same questions re heatpipes Do Heatpipes work with Mobo Inverted as can be seen got prompt replies from abit suppoort reps who tested & gave a responce quickly.

I must admit from starting as fairly pro asus seeing the number of succcessful conroe boards i feel like steering clear of them.
